
Kathleen Fraser graduated in 1997 from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute located in Laurel, MD. Well-known for her skillful acupuncture techniques, herbal prescriptions, hypnotherapy and empathic sensibilities, her successful clinical outcomes in pain management, acute and chronic disease, women’s health, degenerative diseases and addictions make her a much-sought-after practitioner. She specializes in the treatment of chronic and acute pain: neck, shoulder, back and leg pain, as well as, digestive disorders, migraines, insomnia, depression, gynecological disorders, weight management, addiction and more. She has extensive training in 5 Element Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Auricular Acupuncture and Japanese Meridian therapy.
Kathleen has practiced in the United States for 9 years and in Yokohama, Japan for 2 years. She has trained with Master Shudo Denmai of Oita, Japan and Dr. Takahashi Jo of Shang Hi, China. Upon her return to the States, she developed and supervised the Healthy Alternatives program for Calvert Memorial Hospital. Kathleen maintains her acupuncture license in Maryland and Virginia.
Kathleen received her hypnotherapy certificate from the Eastern Shore Institute of Hypnotherapy in 2001. Kathleen focuses on smoking cessation, weight management, stress management and work and sports performance.
